There's no slowing down Harry Potter. The boy wizard's sixth installment, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, grossed an additional $26.8 million on Friday, bringing its three-day total to an impressive $107 million. HP6 is opening stronger than its predecessors but is still tracking behind Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which had earned $127.8 million by the time it reached its first Saturday. HP6 will be buoyed by its family-friendly PG rating, though, and is expected to post some impressive numbers this weekend. Stay tuned for updates.

No one should compare the HP books to the HP movies. Just like TRUE BLOOD, movies have their own beats and rhythms to follow making them hard to adapt word for word from the books. With that said, here are my faves in the movie series (BEST to WORST)
1. PRISONER OF AZKABAN (HP 3)
2. HALF-BLOOD PRINCE (HP 6)
3. GOBLET OF FIRE (HP 4)
4. SORCERER'S STONE (HP 1)
5. ORDER OF THE PHOENIX (HP 5)
6. CHAMBER OF SECRETS (HP 2)
The BOOK SERIES (BEST to WORST)
1. GOBLET OF FIRE (HP 4)
2. DEATHLY HALLOWS (HP 7)
3. PRISONER OF AZKABAN (HP 3)
4. HALF-BLOOD PRINCE (HP 6)
5. SORCERER'S STONE (HP 1)
6. CHAMBER OF SECRETS (HP 2)
7. ORDER OF THE PHOENIX (HP 5)
